The carrier is introducing complimentary high-speed in-flight internet via space-based deal

Passengers aboard British Airways can soon use high-speed internet onboard at no cost following a new agreement involving Elon Musk's communications company.

No-cost and Fast Wifi Available to Everyone

The carrier revealed that the complimentary, “quick and reliable” wifi offering through the satellite provider becomes accessible to travelers flying economy, business, and premium cabins from soon.

Broad Deployment Over Multiple Carriers

The parent organization for the airline, International Airlines Group, stated it had finalized an agreement involving Starlink for providing wifi coverage for more than 500 jets operated by the group's carriers, including the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, and the low-cost airline.

Smooth Internet from Boarding through Landing

BA explained that this implementation of the service was included in a £7bn “transformation” initiative and would offer uninterrupted internet coverage for travelers starting at the gate through landing, even when traveling over large bodies of water and isolated areas.

Passengers may link numerous gadgets and do not have to use a separate login.

Current Wifi Services

Basic connectivity access is presently provided to British Airways passengers through nearly all of their aircraft using its .air platform.
