The Music Icon Plays a Hell Version of Herself in Mockumentary Preview

Charli XCX is preparing for a major big screen onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

In the film, the artist embodies what she refers to as a hell version of her own persona.

It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever witnessed, the star commented.

She further explained in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, yet the concept originated from the expectation to produce one.

A Sneak Peek into The Project

The initial preview, released on recently, combines authentic footage from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized off-stage interactions.

The film is directed and co-written by the director, who explained that the narrative revolves around a scenario where the singer made entirely different choices throughout the marketing of her smash hit album Brat.

A Busy Acting Schedule
